My name is Justin Johnson and I write imaginative, heartwarming, funny, and exciting adventure stories for kids ages 6-10.
I've been a school teacher for over 15 years. That's where I got my start writing stories. I began to write them for my classes, and then I'd give my story to the kids at the end of the school year. Now, I get to do that with my two daughters as well!
I write books for kids who are ready to read on their own without the use of pictures to help them understand the story.
For a lot of kids, this can happen at a very young age (usually beginning of second grade through the beginning of fourth grade).
Because this happens at such a young age, I make sure my stories do not deal with adult themes, as so many stories for these types of readers, unfortunately, do.
My books have clean language, kind characters, and focus on the importance of honesty, loyalty, making good choices, and the importance of friendship.
