Great item!

For years, I’ve alternated between these wipes (in the soft packaging, not the can of wipes) and Whoosh wipes (usually can of wipes), and although I prefer Whoosh overall for the feel and less of a smell, both these brands’ wipes are just as effective for my purposes. I use these to keep technology in the house (phones, computers, ereaders, etc., sometimes even TVs and glasses) clean.

I like that these don’t have alcohol and ammonia, which Whoosh doesn’t either, but unlike Whoosh, SC is less expensive, has bigger and wetter wipes (Whoosh has changed their packaging design and went from bigger to smaller wipes, from my observation), and is more reliably in stock. On Amazon, Whoosh in the can often goes out of stock when I want to buy it, and after their design change, I might actually use SC more or replace Whoosh altogether.

For those who use both brands like I do, one thing I do is use the Whoosh cleaning cloth with SC, so if something I clean with SC is too wet, I dry it with the Whoosh cloth. But you can just use a regular cleaning cloth for that too.

these seemed alright the first time I used them, but every single wipe I have used since have left a very nasty film even after a thorough wipedown, and they certainly are not great for any screen you really wish to take good care of. I am really glad they state there is no alcohol, but after giving the interior of the tube a sniff, I swear I could smell that there indeed was alcohol. Luckily no damage done to my monitor that I can tell, but I definitely do not recommend using these wipes.
